Baptism is a powerful step of obedience and identification with Jesus Christ after salvation has occurred. We believe in water baptism by immersion as Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. It is an outward sign of an inward heart change and an act of obedience to Jesus’ command to be baptized, publicly identifying ourselves as followers of Jesus Christ.
We encourage all adults, youth and children, who have made a commitment to follow Jesus to be baptized. Baptism Classes are required if you wish to be baptized. Baptism classes and Baptism are offered on weekends throughout the year. Baptisms are held at our picnics during the summer.
